School Counselor

2026-27 School year Responsibilities: Provides individual short term student consultation and counseling Oversees and creates 504 Plans; facilitates meetings Provides college/career counseling Assists in the master scheduling process Coordinates meetings with parents, administrators, and teachers to discuss academic, behavioral, and mental health concerns Participates in BARR meetings Consults with and assists teachers in meeting student needs Make referrals to community services, organizations, and health care facilities Provides informational services to students and parents to assist them in educational, vocational, and personal decision making Well-versed on graduate requirements and transcript analysis Organizes and supervises state and other academic testing and student survey programming Adheres to all local, state, and federal laws regarding confidentiality and child safety Performs other related duties as identified by the administrator
