What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapy Student Intern - Physical Therapy - 40 Hours Biweekly (75720) position at LAKE REGION HEALTHCARE?
The Healthcare Intern performs necessary duties and/or special projects under the direction of their department director/s. Internships vary depending on area of interest and can focus on either clerical or patient care assignments and/or projects.
Duties
Environment
Clean and pick up gym; putting away equipment/weights, etc.
Clean/flip rooms
Floor check – keeping items off the floor unless used on floor
Dry hot pack covers
Cleaning/disinfection large equipment with cleaning schedules
Linens – empty if needed, restock as needed.
Ultrasound bottles full and dated
Organized mobile carts/machines
Daily cleaning checklists
Empty garbage as needed
Therapy Support
Room patient
Assist therapist with treatment; remove patient from equipment
Transport patient to/from lobby or elsewhere as needed
Other duties
Answer call lights as needed
Supplies/ordering
Other duties as directed
Available Shifts:
Part-time, day shifts, Monday-Friday, June 8, 2026 - August 28, 2026.
Compensation:
Hourly Wage Range: $15.00/hour. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.
