What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant (76345) position at LAKE REGION HEALTHCARE?
The Accountant Lake Region Healthcare is an important member of the Finance team. This individual will be responsible for assisting with preparation of the monthly financial statements for Lake Region Healthcare and related entities, along with additional bi-weekly and annual reporting requirements. The Accountant has contact with hospital employees, volunteers, community personnel, administration, and providers. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. The Accountant has access to sensitive, confidential information and must be able to maintain those confidences. The Accountant establishes the work procedures and priorities within imposed deadlines.
Hours/Shifts
Full Time, 80 hours bi-weekly
Compensation
Wage Range: $29.34- $38.50/Hourly Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

- To perform this job satisfactorily requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or 3 years of work-related experience is preferred. Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Must have knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office. Must be able to work with other departments on various projects.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
- Must be able to attend the work site per schedule, however, will consider a hybrid work location.
- Adequate computer/keyboarding skills.
