What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academic Coordinator/College & Career Advisor position at Lake Region - Fryeburg Area AE?
The Academic Coordinator/College and Career Advisor works collaboratively with the adult education team in planning, coordinating and assisting in all activities related to the adult education program, as well as academic and career advising.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Student intake and career pathways plan development
Career & College advising based on student need
Academic assessment, HS Diploma and College Transition students
Program planning, design, assessment and evaluation that meet CCRS standards
Initial and on-going assessment of students
Student academic advising and placement as appropriate
Teaching courses, workshops, and seminars aligned with targeted grant objectives and outcomes
Data collection and accurate record keeping
Plan and participate in Professional Development activities as outlined by the Director
