POSITION SUMMARY:
The summer helper is responsible for aiding in the maintenance and upkeep of District buildings and grounds. This position maintains equipment in a state of operational readiness and ensures the safety of their work areas and equipment. This position runs from May 11, 2026, through July 31, 2026, with the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be 18 years or older to operate any motorized vehicles
- Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
- Demonstrated aptitude as a self-starter who works with minimal supervision
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Strong orientation toward providing customer service
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school-age students
