Lake of the Pines Homeowners Association (LOPA) is seeking a full-time Compliance Officer to join our team. LOPA is a private, gated community in the Northern California foothills, featuring 2,000 homes, a 230-acre lake, and a 19-hole golf course.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $20.05 - $22.57
- Facility use privileges (pool, beaches, parks, tennis, discounted golf, and meals)
- Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, vacation and sick leave; and 401(k) after one year
- Pre-employment background check required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect community roads, buildings, and grounds by vehicle or foot to identify and document violations of Governing Documents.
- Issue violation notifications via email, mail, and phone per Environmental Control Standards and the Association Governing Documents.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with compliance inquiries.
- Support the Environmental Control Coordinator with community approvals, minutes, and projects.
- Operate office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office and NorthStar Global.
- Maintain professionalism and promote positive public relations.
- Post information on website relevant to department as needed.
Qualifications
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree with 2 years of compliance-related experience preferred; 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) required; NorthStar Global experience preferred.
- Valid California driver’s license in good standing.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, data entry, report-writing & effective presentation skills.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
