We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Florida-certified educator to join our innovative academic team. Our program offers a rigorous honors-level curriculum for middle and high school students, with a strong focus on academic excellence, interdisciplinary learning, and personalized education.
Position Overview:
The LNPC Academy Part-Time Teacher will oversee core instruction in Science, Social Science, and Electives for middle and high school students while managing key educational programs related to homeschooling and student support services. This role requires strong leadership, curriculum development skills, and the ability to deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in a creative and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership & Instruction
- Teach multiple core subjects in Science, Social Science (History, Government, or Sociology), and Electives (such as Entrepreneurship, Life Skills, or Fine Arts) at the honors level.
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans, monitor student progress, and use data-driven instruction strategies.
- Utilize Google Classroom for Education to manage course content, student engagement, grades, and communication.
Student & Program Oversight
- Conduct interviews with prospective students and families, offering academic guidance and program information.
- Supervise tutors and classroom assistants to uphold instructional quality and support differentiated learning.
Homeschool & Compliance Support
- Guide families through year-end homeschool portfolio reviews, assessments, and adherence to state homeschool laws.
- Provide support with Step Up scholarship requirements, parent-teacher conferences, and student-athlete eligibility and compliance documentation.
Program Development & Innovation
- Collaborate in the development of interdisciplinary, project-based learning experiences including STEAM, arts integration, and real-world applications.
- Contribute to expanding elective course offerings and personalized learning tracks aligned with student interests and college/career goals.

Qualifications:
- Florida Professional Teaching Certification (required).
- Experience teaching Science, Social Science, and Electives at the middle and/or high school level.
- Familiarity with homeschool regulations, portfolio reviews, and academic documentation.
- Strong digital literacy and experience with Google Classroom for Education.
