Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Marine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and boat/yacht maintenance, with the ability to work on various marine vessels. The Marine Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining marine equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This is a Full Time, Year-Round position with great opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on marine vessels, ensuring all systems are functioning properly.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role related to vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with power tools and precision tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work performed.
- Previous experience working with marine equipment is a plus but not required.
- MArine Certifications are a plus but not required. We are willing to train and educate the right individual.
