RN Weekend Manager
Summary: 16 hour shifts responsibility for supervision and the delivery of care and services to residents on their assigned unit on the weekends.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Meet stated physical and sensory requirements below and must be able to work in the described environment.
- Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the patient centered customer experience, enhance workflow, and/or improve the work environment.
- Training and developing, coaching and counseling, and terminating department staff, as deemed necessary.
. Ensures completion of assessments of residents at admission, discharge, as necessary and required.
- Supervise nursing staff on assigned unit(s).
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance regarding the implementation of the plan of care for residents in compliance with physician’s orders.
- Ensure nursing policies and procedures are implemented and followed, educating nursing support staff as necessary and according to facility guidelines.
Job Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current state license.
- One (1) to three (3) years related experience; supervisory experience preferred. Must have a current/active CPR certification.
- Must be proficient in the use of Point Click Care
- Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with employees and vendors.
- Must be available for 16hrs shifts
