Role Description The Physician Recruiter is a full-time or part-time, on-site role based in Orlando, FL, with location flexibility. The role is responsible for identifying, attracting, and physician investors who align with the surgery center’s clinical and cultural standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, and managing the offer and onboarding process. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with physicians, residency programs, and professional associations, while tracking recruitment metrics and reporting progress to leadership. The Physician Recruiter collaborates closely with clinical and administrative teams to understand staffing needs, ensure a positive candidate experience, and support workforce planning aligned with patient care priorities.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting within clinical or ambulatory care settings.
- Demonstrated skills in Hiring processes, including candidate assessment, interview coordination, and offer negotiation.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust with physicians and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple searches simultaneously.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and basic HR compliance in healthcare.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience recruiting physicians or advanced practice providers is preferred.
