- Schedule and confirm attendance of existing patients, as well as prospective patients for in-office consultations.
- Handle a high volume of inbound leads daily, liaising the with Treatment Coordinator to ensure timely follow-ups.
- Screen calls to qualify new patients and ensure "match" (know what questions to ask, and what answers to give)
- Address obstacles that may prevent bookings such as scheduling conflicts, finances, fear, and work to resolve them.
- Jot call notes in Dentrix on patient conversations and liaise internally to ensure seamless hand-offs with assistants, practitioners.
- Fill vacancies by reaching out to patients who require scheduling, by text, email, or other methods.
- Review the schedule at day's end, to identify any patients requiring further assistance for the next day's action plan.
- Prepare day-end production reorts for Management.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, such as lead tracking, scheduling, and follow-up, while ensuring excellent time management.
- Prioritize the patient’s experience and ensure clear communication, empathy, and a helpful attitude throughout the process.
- Prior phone sales, and/or In-person direct sales experience (preferably in dentistry).
- Basic tech literacy with dental systems is a must (Dentrix, NexHealth).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be a self-starter who is highly motivated to meet scheduling goals and productivity benchmarks.
- Ability to work up to 40 hours a week. Monday - Friday from 8 am to 5 pm (occassional overtime may be required)
