Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian Housekeeper/Customer Service Representative to join our team. This vital role combines maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment with providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for performing custodial duties across various facilities, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met, while also assisting visitors and staff with a friendly, helpful attitude. Assisting customers with excellent service at the office, knowledge with computers and willingness to learn new systems. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas.
- Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning processes, adhering to proper handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Operate floor buffers and other custodial equipment for floor care, buffing, and polishing to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as semi-heavy lifting of supplies while following safe procedures.
- Maintain facilities by performing routine janitorial duties such as cleaning cabins, facilities, and assistance in the office.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing individuals efficiently within the premises.
- Must be willing to work weekends when necessary. If you cannot work a Saturday or Sunday or both, please do not apply. Primary duties will be custodial. 40 hours per week. Contract position with no benefits At this time.
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques involving chemical agentsand proper handling procedures.
- Previous housekeeping and office assistant experience demonstrating reliability and attention to detail will be valued.
