Position Overview
This role is primarily focused on dishwashing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness, with occasional food prep support during slower periods or as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, works well under pressure, and takes pride in keeping the kitchen running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and efficiently
- Keep dish area clean, organized, and stocked
- Assist with trash removal and general kitchen cleaning
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and stocking
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work as part of a team to keep kitchen operations moving smoothly
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Kitchen experience is a plus, but willing to train the right person
