What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boat/Jet Ski Rental Dock Hand position at Lake Keowee Boat Rentals?
Lake Keowee Boat Rentals, LLC is currently seeking to hire part time and full time employees for a seasonal position, starting mid April and going through the end of September. Lake Keowee Boat Rentals has served on the lake for over 15 years and has been a reliable source of quality fun while also being reasonably priced. Our staff is known for their friendly, knowledgeable service. We rent Bennington Tritoons and Yamaha Waverunners to the Lake Keowee Community.
Our Staff perform a variety of functions. You will be required to:
- Clean and scrub down boats every day you work.
- Work long days (full time staff)
- Give safety orientations on operating watercraft.
- Perform heavy lifting
- Make simple repairs when necessary (i.e. be willing to learn how to change the propeller on an engine!)
- Drive boats and Jet Skis
- Drive work trucks with boat and jet ski trailers
- Clean shop area
- Yard work around shop
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Flexible scheduling is a MUST.
- Must be available to work every weekend for 10 hour shifts (for full time staff).
- Must be available to work holidays (4th of July, Labor day, etc.)
- Previous knowledge in piloting watercraft strongly preferred (but not required)
- Previous knowledge in trailering strongly preferred (but not required)
- Must be willing to learn about watercraft operations
- Mechanical/electrical knowledge welcome
