Part-time Custodian

Job Title: Part-Time Custodian

Status: Part-Time/Hourly

Salary: $15.00 per Hour

Hours: Varies, 10-30 hours per week. Work a variable schedule as needed, including evenings and most weekends.

Job Summary

The part-time custodian is responsible for setting up and cleaning facilities for rentals and other events on an as-needed basis. They are also responsible for cleaning and maintaining all buildings inside and out.

Qualifications:

The part-time custodian must be able to perform physical labor, which requires repetitive movement and lifting up to 50 lbs multiple times during work. The custodian must also be flexible, have good problem-solving and organizational skills, and be able to work alone and with others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean rental facilities before and after each event.
• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets.
• Wash and sanitize countertops, toilets, sinks, and restock disposables (e.g., soap, towels).
• Clean mirrors and windows
• Set up tables and chairs according to the floor plan before the client arrives for the event.
• Take down tables and chairs and store them in an orderly fashion after each event.
• Maintain restrooms in all buildings during shift.
• Complete regularly scheduled maintenance duties.
• Assist with Lake Katherine event preparations.
• Be familiar with the Employee and Safety Manual.

Physical Demands

This position will consistently and regularly handle materials up to 50 lbs. and be willing to work in all weather conditions.
