What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer position at Lake Holiday Property Owners Association?
Lake Holiday Property Owners Association is hiring for private security. Our community is located in Somonauk/Sandwich, IL, USA.
This is a full time position with full benefits (Paid time off, medical/dental/vision, 401K).
Starting pay is $21 hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the lake, including roadways, residential areas, and common spaces.
- Perform traffic stops and enforce speed limits and community regulations.
- Check passes and verify access credentials for residents and guests.
- Respond to Calls To Service, including disturbances, trespassing and emergency situations.
- Operate and conduct boat patrols to ensure water safety and compliance with lake regulations.
- Provide assistance and support to residents as needed.
- Complete reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols and enforcement actions.
- Maintain a professional and approachable presence while interacting with the public.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to operate security vehicles, including boats, safely and effectively.
- Must be able to pass a background check and any required training and certifications.
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Shifts will include an 8 hour work shift. We are hiring for nights, weekends and holidays.
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions is required.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and operate a vehicle or boat for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid Illinois drivers license.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
