Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction.
• Take customer orders accurately, relay them to kitchen staff, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Provide attentive service throughout the dining experience, addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, dining areas, and service stations to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and guest relations, fostering a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
• Experience working with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Previous hotel or guest services experience can be advantageous in understanding guest relations.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are necessary to create a friendly atmosphere.
• Familiarity with serving, hospitality standards, and guest relations enhances your ability to excel in this role. Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
