What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mathematics Teacher - Upper School (2026-2027) position at Lake Highland Preparatory School Inc?
Job Summary:
Lake Highland's Upper School (US) seeks a Mathematics teacher to instruct students in accordance with the prescribed LHP curriculum for the US Math courses assigned to them. The likely teaching schedule will include Precalculus and/or higher-level math courses. The teacher will perform related teaching tasks and functions such as planning, research, curriculum alignment, assessment, and record-keeping in an efficient and effective manner. As needed, the teacher will also willingly participate in the school community and student co-curricular activities.
This is a full-time, fully benefitted, 10-month position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
- Certification or qualification to teach in Mathematics or related area in grades 9-12 required.
- Minimum of two years teaching experience preferred.
