Facilities Technician - 2-10 pm Shift (Full-Time)

Job Summary:

Lake Highland’s Facilities department seeks a Facilities Technician - 2-10 pm shift to support the mission of Lake Highland Preparatory School by helping maintain safe, clean, and functional facilities and grounds. This position performs a variety of routine maintenance, repair, and operations tasks in support of daily school activities and special events and provides excellent service to students, faculty, staff, and families. 

This is a full-time, fully benefitted, non-exempt, 12-month position. Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two (2) years of experience in general building maintenance, facilities, construction, or a related trade; or completion of a relevant technical training program or certificate.
• Valid State of Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record required.
• Preferred: prior experience working in a school, college, or similar institutional setting; experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or another skilled trade.
