Job Purpose:
- To ensure the safety of patrons at the LAKE HICKORY COUNTRY CLUB swimming facilities by preventing and responding to emergencies. This includes enforcing pool rules, maintaining a safe swimming environment, and providing first aid and rescue services as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor activities in and around the swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure adherence to pool rules and regulations.
- Rescue swimmers in distress and administer first aid and CPR as necessary.
- Maintain order and enforce safety regulations in the pool area.
- Report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized pool deck and surrounding area.
- Communicate effectively with patrons, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Complete necessary records and reports related to pool activities and incidents.
- Participate in regular in-service training to maintain and update lifeguarding skills and knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Education:
- Lifeguard Certification
Required Experience:
- Experience in water rescue techniques and first aid.
- Experience in maintaining pool safety and hygiene.
- Experience in enforcing pool rules and regulations.
