Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation. Shift hours: 5:30 am-2:00 pm
Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals following dietary guidelines
- Help with basic food production tasks under the supervision of kitchen staff
- Support cooks and kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Provide excellent customer service to residents during meal times
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Skills:
- Experience or interest in the food industry
- Ability to assist and support cooks in meal preparation
- Knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques
- Previous experience in a hospital or assisted living facility is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to interact with residents
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food service procedures
