What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sailing Assistant position at Lake Forest?
Support lead sailing instructors during on-water and shore-based activities
Assist with rigging, launching, and maintaining boats and equipment
Supervise campers to ensure safety and positive participation
Help deliver basic sailing instruction and games
Enforce camp safety rules and emergency procedures
Provide encouragement, teamwork, and a fun learning environment
Training DetailsOn-Site: Times and Dates TBD – likely week commencing May 25th or June 1st
*All Training is MANDATORY. CPR Training will be offered.
USA Sailing Level 1 Coaching Certificate
CPR Qualified (CPR Training will be coordinated)
IL state NASBLA boater’s license
