We are seeking basketball scorekeepers to play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of game records. They are responsible for tracking game scores, fouls, timeouts, and other essential statistics during youth basketball games. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and a basic understanding of basketball rules.
- Operate the scoreboard and game clock during games
- Record team and individual player fouls, points, and timeouts
- Communicate with referees and coaches to confirm game details
- Ensure accuracy of the official scorebook
- Report final scores and submit completed scorebooks to the site supervisor
- Basic knowledge of basketball rules and scoring
- Strong attention to detail and ability to focus in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual with strong communication skills
- Must be 16 years or older
- Prior experience as a scorekeeper or in youth sports is a plus (but not required)
