What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Director position at Lake Forest Health & Rehabilitation Ct?
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintenance Director With Long term Care Experience
· Participate in emergency action programs such as fire drills, disaster planning, and actual emergencies. Assist in the revision of these plans that may threaten the safety of the residents and employees
· Prepare the building internally and externally for season changes that may effect safe and efficient operations
· Follow preventative maintenance programs dealing with equipment, physical plant and water temperatures
· Replace and or repair equipment and structural items as identified by employee requests, QA programs, and unexpected circumstances
· Continually improve knowledge based and skill level of technical functions, such as plumbing, heating, electrical etc .
· Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to effectively maintain operations
· May represent the facility off site for supplies and support projects
· Ensure for a safe environment. Exercise the LOCK OUT TAG OUT program
· Participate in any committees or meetings as directed
· Provide ideas and suggestions for policies that may effect the operations
· Provide information of safety issues or problems with the facility to the department head
· In an emergency or through routine functioning, may be required to perform duties to maintain reasonable function of the facility and safety to the residents
Job Type: Full-time
