REPORTS TO: DEAN OF THE SCHOOL OF STREAMS
STATUS: PART-TIME
Lake Erie College, a small, co-educational, four-year, independent liberal arts college located in Painesville, OH, 30 miles east of Cleveland, invites applications for Adjunct Faculty, Math.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides instruction at the undergraduate level using collaborative, instructional technology, and innovative methods.

Teaches introductory level math and calculus courses.

Develops syllabi and coursework in alignment with student and course learning outcomes.

Provides assessment of students and supports college assessment needs.

Establishes and fosters community and institutional relationships to form partnerships that will assist students with networking and job opportunities.
Qualifications:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES:

A minimum of Master’s Degree in Math, Calculus or related field. Past Ohio educator licensure in mathematics is required.

Must be able to teach in person.

Post-secondary or secondary teaching experience is highly desired.
