What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Receptionist position at Lake Dental?
Awesome Dental Office Receptionist Wanted Looking for an enthusiastic team player who can manage the front desk while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate would have experience, be well organized and be able to prioritize the daily tasks. Good communication and phone skills are a must, along with proficiency with computers . Tasks would include:
- Being the first point of contact for our patients.
-Greeting patients in the office when the arrive.
-Answering any questions and collecting their co-pay.
-Confirming all paperwork is complete.
-Scheduling and confirming appointments.
-Managing phone calls.
-Helping the doctor by taking notes during a dental exam.
-Maintaining a coherent flowing schedule for the dentist and
hygienist.
-Helping with dental insurance claims and coverage as
as needed.
-Printing letters, faxing, filing, and answering phone
messages.
-Maintaining a clean front desk office area, reception area and lunch room. -
-Ability to handle several tasks at the same time, like greeting the patient and
putting a call on hold.
-Ability to stay calm.
-Overall, have good organizational , time management, and computer skills.
