The Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) supports providers at Quick Care Clinic at Med Park, part of Lake Cumberland Physician Practices (LCPP), by providing high-quality clinical care and administrative support. This role is essential to maintaining efficient clinic operations, promoting patient safety, supporting regulatory compliance, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.
As a PRN team member, you will work approximately 1-2 days per week from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., supporting providers and staff with patient care and daily clinic operations.

How You'll Contribute
A Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) who excels in this role:
- Assists with patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of a physician or nurse.
- Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection as directed.
- Monitors patients and communicates changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinical team member.
- Accurately documents patient care provided.
- Prepares patients for examinations and assists providers with procedures as needed.
- Maintains examination rooms to ensure they are clean, organized, stocked, and ready for patient care.
- Maintains medical equipment and supplies, including stocking, reordering, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
- Supports efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
- Performs administrative and clerical duties as assigned, including reception, scheduling, filing, data entry, and patient registration.
- Works collaboratively with providers, clinical staff, and administrative team members to support a positive patient experience.
Applicants should be a graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent. Additional requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
