We are seeking a weekend RN or LPN who shares our passion for making a difference in the
lives of those affected by substance use.
Position Overview
This role is essential in maintaining safe, consistent, and compassionate medical care over the
weekend. You will be part of a supportive team while also working independently to ensure our
clients receive the care they need during critical points in their recovery.
Flexible Schedule Options
- Full-Time: Three 12-hour shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Part-Time:
- Two 12-hour shifts (Saturday & Sunday), or
- Two 10-hour shifts (Saturday & Sunday)
- All shifts begin at 7:00 AM
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and administer medications safely and accurately
- Provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including injections and oral medications
- Complete medical intakes and nursing assessments with a compassionate,
patient-centered approach
- Perform acute sick evaluations and respond to patient needs
- Monitor withdrawal symptoms and overall patient status
- Communicate with and notify the on-call provider of any concerns or changes
- Document all care clearly and accurately in the EMR
- Support a safe, structured, and therapeutic trauma informed environment
- Offer encouragement, education, and support to individuals in recovery
What We’re Looking For
- Active, unrestricted Kentucky RN or LPN license
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks of hire)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and confidently on weekends
- Compassion for individuals navigating recovery
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience in substance use treatment, detox, or behavioral health
- Familiarity with MAT (Suboxone, Sublocade, Vivitrol)
- Experience with withdrawal monitoring tools (CIWA, COWS)
Compensation
- $27–$35/hour, based on licensure (LPN vs RN) and experience
- Higher rates will considered for candidates with relevant experience
