Responsibilities
- Vigilantly monitor pool areas to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents or unsafe behavior.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed.
- Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks and maintaining water quality standards.
- Assist with pool upkeep including cleaning pool decks, checking chemical levels, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Provide friendly guest services by answering questions, offering guidance, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold safety protocols, complete incident reports, and maintain accurate records of pool activities.
Skills
- Lifeguard experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow safety protocols meticulously and respond calmly under pressure.
Certifications
- Red Cross Lifeguard certification, or certifiable by start date
