What are the responsibilities and job description for the Juvenile Probation Officer - II position at Lake County, OR?
Supervise, monitor, and evaluate juveniles, their families, and significant others. Assume primary case management responsibilities for youth referred to the Juvenile Services Department. Assist victims and the community in resolving issues related to juveniles. Work closely with all agencies, private and public practitioners, and the general public to provide both intervention and parole/probation services to assist juvenile offenders.
Four-year degree in related field or comparable amount of experience working in a related field with juveniles is preferred. This is a full-time (37.5 hour per week) position. Salary range $4680 - $5973 per month, depending on experience. This is a union position, and includes full benefits including paid vacation & sick leave, medical, vision, & dental insurance, and PERS retirement.
