The Lake County Fair Department is accepting applications for:
Temporary Fair Crew Member
QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent customer service skills and communication skills. Be able to work independently and be a self-starter.
DUTIES: Follow the direction of the Fair Manager in setting up for the Lake County Fair. Assist Lake County Fair Superintendents and participants. Physical demands: must be able to lift 50 pounds, use basic hammer, cordless drill, and ladder. Outdoor duties may include raking, painting, mowing, basic carpentry and repair. Preparing show rings, moving panels. Watering and weeding as needed on the grounds. Assist in planting and watering flowers. Assisting Superintendents and participants during the Fair. Set up sound system for shows and assist where needed during shows.
Hours: June 29th through August 7th, full-time (with overtime during the fair week), ending the week after the fair.
Wage: $14.00/hourly
This position will remain open until filled. Applications will be reviewed on a weekly basis.
