Head Middle School Girls’ Volleyball Coach

Stipend Amount: Starts at $1652/year; follows coaching salary schedule

Supervisor: HS Head Volleyball Coach and Athletic Director

Estimated time commitment:    10-25 hours per week, depending on the season (the official season is August 10 through October 17) 

Detailed description of duties/responsibilities:

• Lead the Lake County MS volleyball program
• Instruct in volleyball skills and strategy while keeping safety at the forefront of all activities
• Lead and organize MS assistant coaches
• Supervise athletes at games and on the bus traveling to and from those events
• Available to work afternoons, evenings and weekends, and be willing to travel with the team to different locations for games
• Cooperate/communicate with other Lake County coaches and the athletic director
• Communicate clearly and positively with parents and athletes 
• Responsible for ordering, distribution and collection of all uniforms and equipment

Special qualifications, if any:

• Knowledge of the game of volleyball
• Experience coaching, especially with middle school athletes, preferred
