Essential Job Functions
Applicants must have a High School diploma or GED. A valid Ohio Driver's license with a safe driving record and a drug screening are required. One (1) year technical laboratory experience or equivalent is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Applicants should have experience performing standardized tests, collecting data, and assisting laboratory personnel. Applicant should have the ability to enhance process knowledge, develop familiarity with departmental rules and regulations, demonstrate initiative and logic, exercise basic judgement, and consistently deliver general customer service in a professional fashion. This position may require overtime, weekend and holiday work, as well as flexible hours.

Essential Job Functions
- Performs daily tests on wastewater samples in various stages of treatment to ensure compliance of environmental standards.
- Operates, cleans, calibrates, and maintains laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Calculates results from raw laboratory data; logs results; maintains accurate test records to facilitate preparation of various State wastewater treatment reports.
- Prepares reagents, standards, and test solutions as needed.
- Assists with data entry and other duties as needed.
- Collects samples; performs on-site analysis as necessary.
