WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a School Bus Driver, you'll safely transport students while providing consistent high-quality, communication with Dispatch and school partners. You'll lead by example, promote a positive company culture, and help ensure each ride reflects Lake Country's values of Integrity, Respect, and Grace.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely drive a School Bus along a designated route to pick up and drop off students at scheduled stops.
- Follow all LCT policies, procedures, and safety standards, including the Pre-Trip Outline and Smith System concepts.
- Arrive on time and prepared for your shift.
- Keep your School Bus clean.
- Maintain required logs and reports.
- Communicate effectively with Dispatch, parents, students, staff, and fellow employees.
- Demonstrate leadership, enthusiasm, and professionalism on and off your routes.
- Motivate and support your fellow employees.
- Protect confidential information.
- Solve problems using Integrity, Respect, and Grace.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicants should possess a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with School Bus Endorsement.
- We also offer a paid training program for applicants that have obtained a CLP (Commercial Learner's Permit) and want to continue hands-on training to acquire their CDL.
- Applicants will need to pass the required Background Check, Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse, and MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous school bus driving experience is preferred but not required.
