Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role based in Oconomowoc, WI. The Billing Supervisor will oversee and manage the billing team, ensure the accuracy and efficiency of billing processes, and optimize the revenue cycle. Responsibilities include supervising invoicing, managing accounts receivables, tracking revenue collections, and ensuring compliance with all billing regulations and standards. The role also involves closely monitoring billing data and handling any discrepancies.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in billing, finance, or revenue cycle management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management, medical billing, coding, and insurance reimbursement procedures in healthcare settings.
- Experience with billing software (e.g. EPIC), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and billing/accounting systems.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership skills, including team and performance management,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in billing and financial documentation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, insurance providers, and patients.
- Knowledge of pediatric healthcare billing is a plus.
