Open Positions (every other weekend required):
1 Overnight Awake position
While no two days are exactly alike, here are some of the things you will be responsible for:
- Provide personal caregiving services in accordance with an established plan of direct care. This includes all personal cares, transferring and feeding residents.
- Provide and participate in recreational, educational, and social activities that meet resident's physical, intellectual, and social needs.
- Provide for the personal needs and comfort of people in their own home
- Assist residents with activities of daily living
- Perform general light housekeeping activities
- Provide transportation assistance to and from activities and appointments
- Offer compassionate companionship to residents
- Play games and offer conversation
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Direct care/caregiving experience required
- Must be able to pass a Department of Human Services background check and fingerprints
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
