An Infant Room Teacher creates a safe, nurturing environment, managing daily care like feeding/diapering, developing age-appropriate activities for cognitive/social growth, ensuring health/safety compliance, and maintaining strong communication with parents about each child's progress and needs, focusing on building secure bonds and meeting developmental milestones. Key duties involve direct supervision, implementing routines, documenting development, and adhering to center policies and state regulations.
To be successful as an infant teacher, you should be creative, energetic, and able to encourage self-expression. Top candidates will possess a thorough understanding of the contextual factors that shape early childhood development.
