Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing exceptional service to guests, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Operate the Tab King POS system efficiently for order processing and payment handling.
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including handling cash and credit card payments.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with the person cooking to coordinate food service as needed during busy shifts.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as necessary.
- Uphold high standards of customer service in a nightclub or bar setting.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred, particularly in a bartending role within a nightclub environment.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink recipe measurements.
- Knowledge of food safety practices related to beverage preparation and service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with customers.
