- The Accounting Intern will support the Finance Department by assisting with daily accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and special projects. This role offers hands-on experience in healthcare finance and provides exposure to revenue cycle processes, budgeting, and financial analysis within a large health system.
- Support all Accounting functions such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Payroll
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Help compile financial reports, schedules, and analytics for internal stakeholders
- Perform account reconciliations under supervision
- Review and match invoices, receipts, and supporting financial documents
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Applicant is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited college or university.
- Students in their Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year are strongly preferred.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Experience preparing spreadsheets, reports, or class-related financial analysis is preferred.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Remaining in a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.

- Work is primarily sedentary in an office setting located off-site. Office hours are Monday through Friday during the day. May be required to work off shifts as needed, on weekends, or on holidays based on projects.
