Assistant Director of Nursing/CNA Supervisor

Lake Charles Care Center located in the heart of Lake Charles, offers long-term care and memory care, as well as short-term rehabilitation services in The Lodge, a separate community located adjacent to the main building. The recently remodeled community will provide a unique professional opportunity in a comfortable environment to those looking for career development.

We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable nurse (LPN or RN) to join our team and help lead our nursing staff while ensuring exceptional resident care. Experience in long-term care preferred.

Full-time position; Day shift

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations
• Supervise, coach, and support CNA staff
• Monitor resident care, documentation, and changes in condition
• Oversee infection prevention and control
• Monitor and follow up on resident weights and nutritional concerns
• Assist with staffing, training, audits, QAPI, and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands-on support to nursing staff when needed
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and excellent resident care

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Louisiana RN or LPN license
• Skilled nursing/long-term care experience preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and genuine commitment to resident care
