Lake Bluff Inn & Suites is a 52-room boutique hotel overlooking Lake Michigan in South Haven. We’re known for warm hospitality, thoughtful details, and guests who return year after year. We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-minded Front Desk Receptionist to be the face of our property and help deliver an exceptional stay for every guest.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the first and last impression for our guests — setting the tone for their entire experience.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Welcoming guests with a warm, professional check-in/check-out
- Managing reservations and room assignments using our property management system (Cloudbeds)
- Answering phones, emails, and guest questions
- Handling payments, invoices, and basic cash balancing
- Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance for room readiness
- Recommending local restaurants, beaches, and activities
- Resolving guest concerns quickly and kindly
- Keeping the lobby and front desk area clean and inviting
- Completing as needed laundry tasks

Qualifications
Required
- Customer service or hospitality experience
- Comfortable with computers, email, and booking systems
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Able to stand for extended periods, walk around the property and climb stairs
Preferred (but not required)
- Hotel or front desk experience
- Experience with Cloudbeds or similar PMS
- Knowledge of the South Haven area
Schedule & Pay
- Part-time or Full-time available
- Seasonal and year-round positions considered
- Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
