Summary
Lake Area Recovery Center is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Full-Time and Part-Time Cooks at our residential treatment facilities. These roles are essential to ensuring the health, well-being, and recovery of our clients by providing nutritious, high-quality meals in a supportive and structured environment. We are looking to hire 1 full time cook.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained throughout food preparation and service.
- Follow menus as designed by our nutritionist that accommodate the nutritional needs of clients while considering dietary restrictions.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of food supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations. Including wearing proper attire (hair nets, gloves, etc..)
- Collaborate with staff to create a welcoming dining environment for clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook in a food service setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Ability to follow menus and prepare meals that meet dietary requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
