Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist with previous HR experience in a manufacturing environment to join our Human Resources team in New Hope, MN. The ideal candidates will be an independent and motivated self-starter who has excellent communication skills. The HR Generalist must be capable of balancing multiple priorities in a professional manner to help achieve corporate goals in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer various human resources plans and procedures for company personnel; assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
• Conduct investigations when employee complaints or concerns arise
• Conducts employee onboarding/offboarding
• Assists with benefit orientations and open enrollment, as needed
• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing
• Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company policies and governmental laws and regulations
• Assist with the implementation of the performance management system that includes performance improvement plans (PIPs) and employee development programs
• Monitor the organization's culture so that it supports the attainment of the company's goals and promotes employee satisfaction
• Assist employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of policies and procedures.
• Partner with leadership and provide administrative support as needed
• Support recruitment efforts for various positions and participate in on-site interviews

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma/GED; bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 years of HR experience required
• HR certification (PHR/SHRM) preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Able to manage confidential information, prioritize tasks, and adapt to change.

• Proficient in ERP systems, ADP, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

• Ability to travel to local hiring events, career fairs, other plants, etc. as needed

• Demonstrates a passion for relationship building and connecting with others
