We are seeking an experienced Account Support Coordinator to join our growing Roseville, MN Team. This individual would collaborate with our Order Entry Specialist to review customer requirements and ensure production capacity and part scheduling are properly aligned. Purpose
The Account Support Coordinator manages all aspects of sales orders, serving as the primary communication link between Lake Air Products and our customers for order processing and shipment follow-up. This role supports teamwork across internal teams and helps drive key performance metrics to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Order Entry Specialist to review customer requirements and ensure production capacity and part scheduling are properly aligned.
- Complete customer acknowledgements, changes, revisions, and requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports Job Status Maintenance, Planning Workbench, and Time Phased Inquiry, and more to monitor customer orders, inventory availability, and production schedules
- Work with production and scheduling teams to track order progress and communicate delivery updates or changes to customers
- Coordinate and resolve schedule changes with internal teams and customers
- Route customer issues to the appropriate departments and expedite production activities when needed to ensure customer satisfaction
- Serve as a liaison between customers, Account Managers, and Production leaders to uncover potential roadblocks and proactively resolve issues
- Manage and resolve customer complaints within assigned areas of responsibility
- Support timely resolution of Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order management
- Record and maintain customer interactions in the CRM system, including any discussions not tied to a sales order or RMA
- Prepare, maintain, and act on customer performance metrics as required
- Manage customer inventory programs, including consigned or vendor-managed inventory (VMI).
- Proactively engage with customers to set clear expectations around lead times, inventory management, quality, and cost—fostering a partnership-based relationship
- Record and maintain customer interactions in the CRM, including discussions not tied to sales orders or RMAs.
- Provide backup support to Account Management as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of manufacturing process and scheduling of jobs
- Experience with Microsoft Office in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience working in ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
- Must be a high-paced self-motivator who promotes teamwork among co-workers
- Must have the ability to multi-task and to deal with dynamic problems and variables
- Excellent communication skills
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred
