Lawrence Ford is growing, and we’re looking for an Automotive Service Advisor to join our service team.

We have an experienced group of technicians, a great team, and a service department with tremendous untapped potential. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow right along with us.

Experience is great—but attitude, work ethic, customer service, and the willingness to learn matter just as much.

We are not afraid to train the right person. If you're motivated, organized, great with people, and willing to learn, we'll invest in helping you become a great Service Advisor.

Compensation

$3,000–$10,000 per month — Base Commission

What You'll Do

As a Service Advisor, you're the connection between our customers and our technicians. You'll help customers understand what their vehicles need while making sure they receive an excellent experience from beginning to end.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and identifying their service needs

• Writing accurate repair orders

• Communicating customer concerns to technicians

• Reviewing technician inspections and recommendations

• Explaining repairs and maintenance clearly to customers

• Providing estimates and obtaining repair authorization

• Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process

• Reviewing completed repairs and invoices

• Recommending appropriate maintenance based on vehicle needs and manufacturer guidelines

• Following up with customers

• Building long-term customer relationships

• Working closely with technicians, parts, and management

• Helping achieve departmental sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

• Has excellent communication and customer service skills

• Is comfortable speaking with customers in person, by phone, text, and email

• Is organized and able to manage multiple priorities

• Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Is comfortable using computers and learning dealership software

• Has strong follow-through and attention to detail

• Is motivated by goals and performance-based compensation

• Works well as part of a team

• Is dependable, professional, and accountable

• Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Has a valid driver's license

• Can meet applicable MVR requirements

• Can successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Previous automotive service experience is preferred, but we are absolutely willing to train the right person.

Automotive knowledge is a plus, but experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or another fast-paced customer-facing position can translate extremely well into this role.

Physical Requirements

This is an active position. Candidates must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods

• Bend, stoop, squat, reach, and move comfortably

• Enter and exit vehicles without assistance

• Move throughout the service drive, shop, customer areas, and dealership offices

• Safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
