Sales Marketing Director

Laidig Systems, Inc., is actively interviewing for a Sales Marketing Director. We are looking for a positive, high energy, self-directed Sales Marketing Director to join our growing team. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales.

Laidig has 65 years’ experience providing custom-engineered systems to store and reclaim materials with special handling requirements, especially those that require exceptionally rugged, extreme-duty mechanical reclaimers. We design, market, construct, and service our equipment. As a result of our pioneering innovations with bottom-reclaim systems over the past decades, Laidig is recognized internationally as the industry leader is this highly-specialized field.

Overview

The role of the Sales Marketing Director is to produce, oversee, and maintain communications for external audiences. On a day-to-day basis, the role consists of conceptualizing and creating strategic and targeted communication and messaging. This will include working directly with members of the sales team to develop tools in support their individual requirements.

Tasks:

· In collaboration with our sales team, develop marketing strategizes supporting our continued growth and worldwide presence.

· Identify and create video and graphical content using company owned resources for current and potential customers on a variety of platforms, keeping Laidig’s niche products and markets in mind.

· Write articles for and coordinates with industry media outlets to show the value of Laidig’s brand and products

· Design, print, and create various media for trade shows that reflect specific marketing aspects within any given industry that Laidig serves. Media may include backdrops, brochures, video and interactive displays.

· Maintain and create content for Laidig’s LinkedIn and YouTube pages

· Conceptualize and craft any and all advertising on the company’s behalf.

· Track web trends using Google Analytics.

• Actively watches and tracks activity on Laidig.com
• Identifies demographical trends to benefit the Sales Team
• Completes initial research with any findings

· Manage Laidig.com

• Oversees all website content
• Performs routine web content updates including postings blogs, videos, etc.
• Designs new websites/themes when requested

A qualified candidate demonstrates the following characteristics:

· Enthusiastic attitude and people skills are key.

· Display a curiosity to learn about our equipment and describe value to our customers.

· Some understanding of mechanical equipment would be helpful.
