Hiring for the (October 1st, 2026- April 31st, 2027) Winter Season.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting skis, snowboards, boots, accessories, and apparel that match their skill level and preferences
- Provide product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding and confidence
- Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to promote featured products
- Conduct product demos and educate customers on proper equipment use and maintenance
- Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, offering knowledgeable advice and support
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in outdoor gear, sporting goods, or grocery store environments. (Preferred, not Required)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales and inventory management
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, and maintaining organized retail displays
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of ski & snowboard equipment or outdoor sports is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for winter sports is essential
