Laundry Attendant – Lahontan Golf Club

Position Overview

The Laundry Attendant supports the Spa, Fitness Area, and Locker Room operations by maintaining a steady supply of clean towels, robes, and linens, while also ensuring the tiled locker room areas are spotless, sanitized, and presented to Lahontan’s high standards. This role combines laundry processing, detailed cleaning, shoe care, and support for overall locker room presentation, fitness area, and spa treatments.

Key Responsibilities

Laundry Operations

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize towels, robes, and linens for daily locker room use.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers according to safety and care guidelines.
• Pre-treat stains and ensure all items meet Lahontan’s cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Maintain consistent workflow to meet high-demand periods (weekends, tournaments, special events).
• Deliver folded linens promptly to both the Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms.

Cleaning & Sanitation

• Clean and sanitize all tiled areas including:
  • Showers and shower walls
  • Toilets and urinals
  • Vanities and sinks
  • Steam room benches, flooring, and glass surfaces
  • Locker room bar area and countertops
  • Shoe room and work area surfaces
  • Spa wet treatment room
• Wipe and polish mirrors, faucets, and chrome fixtures to maintain a spotless appearance.
• Empty trash bins and restock paper products, toiletries, and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Ensure all cleaning is performed safely and in accordance with product instructions.
• Vacuum carpeted areas.

Shoe Care

• Clean, spike, lace and polish golf shoes.

Facility Presentation & Support

• Maintain an organized laundry and storage area.
• Restock towels and amenities throughout the day in both locker rooms.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the Locker Room Supervisor immediately.
• Assist Locker Room Attendants with preparation for tournaments, member events, and daily operations.
• Support housekeeping standards across the spa and locker facilities as assigned.
• Maintain clean and spotless Spa treatment rooms.
• Deep clean fitness equipment and fitness room floors

Teamwork & Communication

• Coordinate with Locker Room Attendants to prioritize laundry loads and cleaning needs.
• Communicate proactively with management regarding supply needs or equipment issues.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that reflects Lahontan’s professional culture.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or laundry operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
• Comfortable using a variety of cleaning products.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical cleaning duties such as bending, reaching, scrubbing, and standing for extended periods.

Schedule

Full-time positions available. Must be available weekends, holidays, and event days. Afternoon and evening shifts required for operational efficiency.
