Position Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and energetic Party Check-in Host to join our team at The Funplex in Mount Laurel. In this role, you?ll be the first point of contact for party guests, helping to ensure a smooth and welcoming check-in process while supporting party operations and sales. If you love working with people and creating great guest experiences, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome party guests with a positive and professional attitude
- Issue party wristbands and assist with the check-in process
- Manage and follow guest lists to ensure accurate attendance
- Handle same-day sales and package upgrades using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Read and interpret the party schedule to provide accurate directions to party rooms
- Escort guests to party rooms while offering helpful and friendly guidance
- Provide party information and facility tours to guests and potential clients
- Book new parties by explaining packages, checking availability, and confirming details
- Assist with incoming phone calls and support guest inquiries as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Comfortable using a POS system and learning scheduling tools
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Experience in hospitality, events, or customer service is a plus
- Weekend and holiday availability required
