We are seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) to lead clinical care at Laguna Rainbow Elder Care, a skilled nursing facility in Casa Blanca, New Mexico. This role is central to ensuring high-quality, compliant, and compassionate care for residents who depend on clinical excellence every day.
Laguna Rainbow Corporation exists to serve elderly citizens residing on or near the Laguna Indian Reservation. As Director of Nursing, you will oversee all nursing operations, guide your team through complex clinical environments, and ensure care delivery meets the highest standards—while honoring the dignity and cultural identity of those you serve.
This is a role for a leader who brings both clinical rigor and steady leadership presence—someone who can navigate regulatory demands while building a strong, accountable team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all nursing operations within the skilled nursing facility, including assessments, care planning, and ongoing clinical oversight
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliance within clinical systems and regulatory standards
- Train, coach, and develop nursing staff to maintain high-performance and quality of care
- Conduct audits and implement improvements to strengthen clinical outcomes and survey readiness
- Partner with the Administrator to maintain compliance with all federal, state, and licensing requirements
- Support hiring, scheduling, orientation, and performance management of nursing staff
What We’re Looking For
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific required)
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred
- Proven leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong knowledge of state regulations, survey processes, and risk management
- Excellent communication, team leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- A genuine commitment to serving seniors with compassion and respect

Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
